Legal structure, pros and cons for either bureau or branch?

I am in the process of setting up the legal entity for a financial UK Limited company, I have been vetted by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and passported across to BdF, this process has been reasonably simple and the delays for BdF have passed. I am just about to instruct an English speaking lawyer to form the company (idea currently being a branch) and would like to know what the the fundamental differences between a bureau and branch?
