Legal requirements for a franchise business in France?

We are currently a building renovation business in France (entreprises individuelle real simplifie) and due to illness we are to change direction and revert back to a business type we had in the UK. The business is a yacht broker under a franchise scheme to a UK company.

  1. Do we need a new business for this as I assume I cannot now be an auto-entrepreneur?
  2. Are there any extra qualifications required to operate in France over and above those of the UK?

All of the income would be commission from the sale, so our sales figure would be about 80,000 euros, with 50,000 euros gross profit. But the turnover of boats sold would be about 1.2 million euros, which as a UK company is not classed as turnover as you are selling something on behalf of somebody else and all the monies go through a client account.
