Is TVA 5.5% or 19.6% in France?

I would like to know how to ascertain the rate of TVA that applies to my work. My business in France is to supply and fit outdoor blinds/stores. Some of my work will inevitably apply to old stone houses. One might not normally refer to what I do as restoration, but the same can be said with a lot of renovation I’ve seen done on old houses.

Is there any way I can apply a 5.5% TVA rate to my work on older houses? If so, who gives the definitive answer? Could the way I present the work make any difference? For example my product can and does reduce the energy loss from the house. Is there a set form of paperwork I would need to fill out in this regard?
