Is publishing financial information a legal requirement for SARL and EURL?

In one of your recent posts, I came across a link to the website societe.com, where one can find quite a bit of details on the financial situation of a company. Information that I wouldn’t want to see out in the public, where just about anybody and his dog can access it and information that I would never give out unless there is a legal requirement. Is publishing financial information a legal requirement in France for SARL and EURL?
