I watched your excellent video on auto-entrepreneur - it explained it all very well and worth joining just for that. I just need to be sure I understand what it says.
- As an Auto-entrepreneur you say as a gite business in France we get an allowance of 71% on turnover to cover costs and then pay income tax only on the remaining 29% of turnover. Is this correct? I read you only get the 71% allowance if we belong to Gites de France and if we don’t belong we get 50%?
- In the video you say we will only pay income tax of 1% of turnover. Is this correct?
- So we would pay 14% on social charges and 1% on income tax plus some very small extra taxes so a total of about 15% on our total income which is good and makes the auto-entrepreneur the best option for us to take?
