Is auto entrepreneur right for translating, copywriting and editing jobs?

I am currently on congé parental from my job as a salarié in an agency. I want to start translating for my old company and others, working from home - is auto entrepreneur the right status to go for? I would like to be able to do copywriting or producing and editing jobs as well as translating, is there a category for this? I don’t expect to earn more than the 32,000 euros per year.

I currently have a carte vitale with social security, do I have to change anything with the CPAM when I change status? Who else do I have to notify apart from my employer and registering as auto-entrepreneur online?
