Inheritance law in France and children

  1. When two spouses co-own a home and bank accounts in France, is there a mechanism by which they can leave 100 percent of their property to the remaining spouse (We want none of the children to inherit upon one spouse’s death, and all to inherit equally upon the death of the second spouse.)
  2. We also have property in the US, which we assume would be subject to US law upon our deaths, even if we were to die in France. Is that a correct assumption?
