Import as an auto-entrepreneur from outside Europe?

I am considering importing souvenirs made from wood and natural glass and sell them in markets.The products will be imported from outside European Economic Area, so I guess they will be subject to custom clearance. Can I run this activity under auto-entrepreneur scheme and could you help me please find some info regarding custom duties and fees?
