I’m a musician and a fundraiser. How should I register myself?

I work as both a professional musician, mainly for ensembles outside France and as a freelance fundraiser for charities in the UK. My turnover is around €33,000 but my profits are far from that. In the tax year 2012-13 I made a loss, in 2011-12 I made a profit of €1,800 (and was also employed as a fundraiser). This tax year (6 April 2013 - 5 April 2014) I foresee a generous possible profit of €12,000.

My turnover is roughly half music and music related activities (teaching, CD sales) and fundraising. I expect that this situation will continue though I hope to see more income coming from French Associations. I already have one concert definite, another possible and a couple of possible projects with already defined Associations. My question is, how should I register and would it make sense to set up my own Association musicale, in which case, how do I do that?
