How to cancel professional business insurance?

I’ve just had an email with a PDF of my renewal from la poste professional business insurance, who I’ve been with for two years. I’d like to cancel this insurance as I do not need it for the business I’m doing. Is there a correct way to do it. I’ve heard there are letter templates and times to give notice can you give me some advice please.
