How should I register a business in France as a beauty therapist?

I am a beauty therapist who will now be working out of a treatment room in a hotel in France. I will be working under my own French business name, not the hotels and all the clients will be mine. I will also do occasional mobile work in clients homes.

It is likely that my takings will go over the French turnover limit for auto-entrepreneur business, maybe not in the first year, but afterwards as I want to be able to grow the business. I would also like to be able to offer work to other auto entrepreneur massage therapists who may cover hours for me as well as having their own clients elsewhere.

One of my friends has a cleaning business where she works with a variety of auto entrepreneurs who invoice her for their hours worked, she is registered as a micro enterprise, but I’ve just seen in another post that you’ve said these are merging together for 2015. I’m confused about what to do for the best.

My expenses won’t be too high, an initial outlay of around 3,500 euros and then quarterly of maybe 500 euros, depending on how busy I am and how much product I use. Some of my product suppliers need a TVA number to register an account to order products, so I am also confused about this. If you could help me see things more clearly it would be a great help.
