How should I manage an increase in my French business expenses?

I have an auto-entrepreneur business set up in France offering a service not products. I am currently doing my business strategy and budget for 2017 and am anticipating more expenses than in previous years, e.g. equipment, education travel and accommodation costs etc. I anticipate total one-off expenses for 2017 will be around 15,000 euros to 20,000 euros.

Currently, my fixed monthly expenses (rent, insurance etc.) are around 1,200 euros. Declared turnover for 2016 was around 22,000 euros. I understand I cannot put my expenses against the business with auto-entrepreneur status. At what point would it make sense to upgrade from an auto-entrepreneur business and what do you suggest?
