How do I check if I have paid my online declaration?
I think I have just declared online for the first time, but I am not sure. I opted for monthly payments, I don’t know why, but I have received two demands for declaration by post in one envelope, one for July and the second for August. I have now also received a demand for September. Each has the date limit of 01/12/2014. However when I just put in the total figure for July, there was a message on screen which said I would be susceptible to charges as this was late.
The amount to pay was automatically calculated on the form (not including extra charges) and there was only one option, deconnexion, which I selected. This of course put me out of the online form. How do I know if I have now paid, and if not how do I do it? And why would I be liable for late payment charges if I only just got the form asking me to declare?
