How do I change VDI business status to auto-entrepreneur?

I sent you an email earlier today regarding changing the Vendeur à Domicile Indépendant (VDI) status to an auto-entrepreneur business (artisnale) in France.

Is it done through the website when I register the company, or is there another chanel I need to go through?
Once I register the business I would then I imagine I would need a business bank account as well as a personal one?
Also as far as insurance is concerned since the auto-entrepreneur title is registered to my name would I have to expand on my current personal insurance plan or would it be a separate coverage?
