How do I add online selling as a second activity to an auto-entrepreneur business in France?

I have been looking at the online forms to add the secondary business activity in France. My partner wishes to keep the hommes toutes main and add online selling as the secondary activity. After reading some other posts I think I will do the modification online and print the form and add a letter to say it is the secondary activity.
- Will it tell me where I should send the form - or would it be just the local Chambres de Metier?
- Do you think proceeding this way is acceptable?
- Can the secondary activity then be started straight away?
- Will the first declaration be due for earnings up to the end of September?
