Fundraising rules in France?
I am interested in organising some fundraising events to help certain charities and also individuals who are currently providing aid for various causes. I wanted to know if there were any rules of holding such events and if anybody is able to do so? I have heard of an association but I am not sure what that involves and if it is absolutely necessary to have.
The activities would include general online fundraising (asking for donations), raffles, selling hand-made items and basically anything else I can think of. 100% of the funds received would go towards buying items that have been requested from the charities/associations or individuals working directly with those in-need.
Could you please advise if there are any sort of legal formalities there that I need to be aware of when doing something to this nature in France?
