Do I need to publish accounts with an EIRL business in France?

I set up a business last year as an Entreprise Individuelle in France with a view to changing it to entrepreneur individuel à responsabilité limitée (EIRL) once all equipment etc. had been purchased. However the Chambre de Metiers are now telling me that an EIRL needs to publish its accounts, so have recommended an acte d’insaisissabilité. Our accountant tells us that this isn’t the case and are advising EIRL. I would prefer not to publish accounts at this stage, and also wonder whether the acte d’insaisissabilité protects any assets outside of France?
