Do I need a permanent address when registering business in France?

I see from previous responses and other information on this site, that an auto-entrepreneur business registration in France takes up to three weeks to have a business set up. I will be moving at the end of the month, so that will probably be fine. However, I see that I also get registered for the carte vitale at that point, and I’ve heard that can take a few months, is that right?

I don’t know what my address will be when it comes through as I am doing the temporary gite thing for the summer until more rentals are available. How do I handle this - are there mailboxes one can use as a permanent address here until I am more permanent?
