Do I have to pay the one percent voluntary contribution?

Following up on a previous question I am going to see the tax office before the payment date of my demand and hope that they will say that this is a mistake. I am concerned that my business in France is not setup correctly for a chambre d’hotes/gite and would rather rectify this in advance if possible. Would I be able to email you a copy of the business set up papers and would you just confirm that they are OK?
