Do I have to create invoices for online sales?

I receive royalty payments direct into my bank from stock agencies. From the agencies websites I can download a spreadsheet of net revenue.
- Do I have to make out invoices for each payment?
- Also I receive online payments through Paypal for online fulfilment of photograph print purchases from a 3rd party supplier. I have the Paypal receipts of payment but do I also need to create an invoice?
Just in case it has any bearing to this the value of the items can range from just 5 euros up to several hundred euros.
