Distributor for children’s fashion for France?

I just signed on as distributor for France, for googooandgaga, a line of children’s clothing. They are manufactured in Asia so I need to import and ship throughout France. I am a sole entrepreneur, and I don’t know which legal structure to select. I will be selling to retailers, shops, department stores. I am joining the trade fair Playtime Paris this July 2011, and will know my brand’s potential turnover only by then. Also, I need to register my business quickly because I have to create a French website and register for the Playtime Paris show by April. How long does it take to register a business in France?
