Declaration and Paying auto-entrepreneur turnover online

At the end of October I completed the declaration for my husband, including adding bank details and pressed “Envoyer”.  I assumed that the payment would go automatically from his bank account.  We have just received a letter to say he did not declare for the last trimester and when I go onto his account to check, there is indeed no declaration.  I obviously did something wrong but not sure what was I supposed to do after validating the declaration?

Also, do we need to present something to our bank to authorise payment?
