Continuing a business in France after retirement?

I am 65 and have worked in France for about 35 years with periods as an employee, a gerant and as an auto-entrepreneur business in France. I haven’t applied for retirement yet. I need some advice about whether it is worth it. The last time I looked, it didn’t seem to be.

I am classified currently as a commercant. If I take my pension, I think there is a limit to how much extra I can earn. In my head this is 50% more. I have tried to find up to date information on this but have failed.

My activity has changed to mainly teaching and I think I could be reclassified as a profession liberale. I think that, with this classification, I can earn as much again as I receive for my pension. Is that correct?
