Company van for French employee?

I am a director of a UK registered company, but living in France. Our French accountants advised us that as our house is in France, I should be paid my salary in France. I pay cotisations/tax and pension contributions under the French system. Is it cost effective to have a company van? I can’t find where to look for this information (and my French is not that good yet). What other information do you require from us?
