CIPAV payments as micro-entrepreneur?

I am registered as a micro-entrepreneur (re named from auto-entrepreneur) business here in France and pay my quarterly taxes to régime social des indépendants (RSI) avec versement libératoire de l’impôt sur le revenu.

In addition, I have been paying separate amounts to caisse interprofessionnelle de prévoyance et d’assurance vieillesse (CIPAV), totalling several thousand euros over the past few years.

Having read several posts on this forum, I think I may be making these payments to CIPAV in error, as it seems that my pension payments are already included in my quarterly payments to RSI. Is this correct, and if so, would I be entitled to a refund from CIPAV?
