Changing from entreprise individuelle to auto-entrepreneur?

I am currently registered as a PL under the regime entreprise individuelle with my activity being a Conseil and activities of coaching/training and facilitation. My income has dropped considerably over the last 18 months. In addition I want to start a new activity selling my photographs online. I don’t anticipate my future income surpassing the limit for auto-entrepreneur and am thinking that this would be a good regime to change to.

I have two questions concerning this, the first one concerns legal structure. How and when can I change to auto-entrepreneur?
The second is what are the formalities for adding an activity of selling photos online. Does this need registration with the chambre de metiers or chambre de commerce?
