Changing Auto Entreprenneur Regisration?

Having reached a stage where we need to start earning some money, we recently registered my husband as a plumbing and heating engineer. This was the easiest thing we could think of to do at the time as he is a fully qualified and experienced plumber. We used the on-line Auto Entreprenneur system - just registering him, we did not put me down as a Conjoint collaborateur. I have to say the online system was simple and straightforward and the Siren and Siret numbers came through within 1 week. My husband has not as yet carried out any work as a plumber.

We have now completely changed our minds, (my husband really didn’t want to go back to being a plumber), and we are now thinking that we would like to run a market stall instead. We understand that if both of us work on the stall then both of us need to be registered and both of us need a Carte de Commercant - correct me if i’m wrong. We just don’t know which way to now make the necessary changes and would appreciate any advice.

  1. Do we de-register/cease my husbands auto-entrepreneur regisration and do a brand new auto-entrepreneur regisration for market selling, with one of as Conjoint collaborateur?  Or
  2. Can we totally change my husbands existing auto-entrepreneur regisration, including adding me as Conjoint collaborateur?
  3. Do we change my husbands existing auto-entrepreneur regisration, but then register me seperately under my own auto-entrepreneur regisration?
  4. Is us both being under the same auto-entrepreneur regisration more tax/cotisation efficient than both of registering seperately? Or does it make no odds?
