I started an auto-entrepreneur business in January 2011 in France as a carpenter, with decorating as a secondary activity. All was going well until I crushed and broke my right hand a few years ago. Subsequently it has become apparent that I can no longer continue with these activities profitably. I have an opportunity to take on some light gardening work, e.g. mowing, weeding and hedge-trimming, planting etc. and wondered whether you could:
- Advise the appropriate activité principale exercée (APE) code for this activity? I believe it may be Les Petits travaux de Jardinage.
- Advise the appropriate APE code for petit travaux de bricolage? I will be able to continue with small works, e.g. constructing kitchen cupboards, changing door handles and putting up curtains etc. general handyman stuff.
- Advise the process for changing my existing activities to the new ones?
- Clarify which (if any) insurance I should have for the new activities?
- Confirm whether I have to have a bank account solely for business transactions?
