Can I register as a counsellor in France?
We moved to France in May last year. We are both receiving UK state pensions and I a royal mail pension and my wife a national health service pension. I have carte vitale with affection de longue durée (ALD) and we have secondary health insurance.
In the UK I am a doctor of psychotherapy practice and am registered as a psychotherapist with the United Kingdom Council for psychotherapy. I know in France psychotherapists need to be medically qualified or be a psychologist and I am not, therefore I need to practice as a counsellor.
I hope to earn a maximum of 500 euros per month and maybe run non-residential five day workshops.
I want to work but do not want to have to pay social charges or pay out more than I earn. How do I register as a micro-entrepreneur and get a SIRET number?
