Can I register a second business activity in France?

If I register my gite in France under the chamber de métiers as my main income but want to also do other work, such as enretein de jardins et d’espaces or aide a domicile or homme de toutes mains, can I add these on the same micro-entrepreneur business?
As my gite is not going to open until late March can I register the micro-entrepreneur now or do I have to wait?
