Can I open a business in France as a non-resident?

I am a freelance composer in the UK and have a limited company in the UK. I have the opportunity of writing for some French production companies but I need to invoice from France or as a French company. How would it be best to go about this with as little cost and red tape as possible? There are two of us that write together and we expect to turnover under €40,000.
