Birth certificate with mentions marginales?

We have been asked to supply the above in connection with our CPAM registration. Obviously we do not have mentions marginales on UK birth certificates - but do you know what they are expecting to receive? We were planning on translating our birth certificates and simply adding down one side the date when we got married.
