Best way to start a business in France to sell alarms?

My husband and I want to start selling and installing wireless intruder alarms and wired CCTV systems in France. My cousin has company in the UK with many years experience in this line of work and we would like to be part of this business. I believe that if one of us registers as an auto-entrepreneur we would have to pay high cotisation on all the equipment installed as well as the labour. The equipment is the most expensive part of the work.

Is it possible to invoice customers through the UK company with a euro account and for us to receive payment from the UK to declare here? We do not have resources to pay cotisation in advance of earnings as would be the case under some regimes. What would be the best way of doing this?

The wireless systems require only a plug to be fitted to the equipment, but the wired systems require electrical work. My husband has experience in the UK installing industrial computer systems, would this be accepted?

At present my husband is in receipt of A.S.S. with a dispense de recherche d’emploi, does this make any difference to anything? I am 58 registered disabled 50 - 75% by the MDPH but receive no allocation. I would be involved with all the administration.
