Auto-entrpreneur - is RSI obligatory?

I have been told that RSI is a poor quality insurance compared with normal employee health insurance. Is there any way to avoid transferring to RSI as an auto-entrepreneur? Not all of my income will be from auto-entrepreneur this year, will that make a difference?
