Auto-entrepreneur for artisan wedding photographer in France?

I am a wedding photographer and would like to start an auto-entrepreneur business in France.
- As a wedding photographer, is it correct that I will be classed as an artisan?
- If so, can I register my business online (and can you provide information to do this) or, will I need to go to my local centre de formalités des entreprises?
- Could you please also confirm if I need to complete the five day course (Stage de Préparation à l’Installation)?
