As an auto-entrepreneur do I need my gites to be classé and what does it mean?

I have heard that in order to be able to earn up to 80,000 euros turnover per year under the auto-entrepreneur business scheme, my gites in France have to be classé. Is this right and what exactly would have to do to achieve this?
