Apprehensive about taking the auto-entrepreneur step?

I have found my first client, who has agreed to pay me as an auto-entrepreneur, instead of salarial portage. I however feel scared about signing up to become an auto-entrepreneur, in case I can’t find any other clients.
- Is it very complicated to stop being an auto-entrepreneur if things don’t go too well?
- I also have no idea of how to invoice a client. Would you happen to have a link to an invoice template which is OK to bill customers here in France?
