APE codes for businesses in France?

When registering a business in France, you are issued an activité principale exercée APE code, which relates to and describes your principal activity. The job description for the code is not very detailed and does not explain exactly what work you are registered to do.

I do several different types of work in France, but all relating to the same APE code, I would like to know, if I am registered with the correct code or if I need to add some new codes to my enterprise.

Is there a list of APE codes with a definition of the work that can be carried out when registered under a specific code?
