Agent commercial registration for commision based business?

I followed your advice and went to greffe du tribunal du commerce to register my business in France as agent commercial but they said that I can’t register as an agent commercial without a contract.
Just to remind you, my business will be referring clients to various companies: construction, real estate, car rental, florist etc. and the companies will be paying me a commission. I will not have any formal contracts with the companies. Is there any other scheme that I can register under where I can pay as I earn?
