A USA company wanting to do business in France?
An internet based company from USA has asked my wife to represent them as their local agent here in France. The company will launch .fr website for this purpose. Before jumping into anything we want to be certain that the USA company have fulfilled the business registration obligations here in France. My wife is currently registered as an auto-entrepreneur - Activitié Principle Exercée: Conseil pour les affaires and autres conseils de gestion. She wishes to remain an auto-entrepreneur for this fiscal year at least, so effectively the USA company will be just another customer to my wife.
Please can you advise what the USA company must have done registration wise before my wife can legally act as their local agent. It is proposed she will not receive a salary, she will receive a commission on sales which she has been involved in.
